MONTSENY
First of all, I want to say that it was a really interesting activity because we have worked by using English as the language of communication and also we have remembered our good memories from a selected topic. In our case, we have chosen Montseny because of different reasons.
First of all, I live in Sant Celoni, a big village which is situated really near to Montseny, since I was born. In Marta's case, she makes the popular "Travessa del Montseny", but she works as an assistant for helping participants when they want to eat during the tour.
In order to make our oral presentation, I selected my first sleep camp away in Can Putxet and she selected "La Travessa del Montseny" for explaining them in a natural way as a result of becoming the protagonists of each experience.
We used Power Point for designing our presentation by using clear titles and nice images. We decided to divide our Power Point into different parts such as the presentation, justification of our topic, Rachel's experience with a final conclusion, Marta's experience with a conclusion, a personal video and a thanksgiving.
As curiosities, we have used our personal photos for designing our presentation and some others from the Internet. At the same time, we wanted to make a unique conclusion for each part due to we considered that each experience should have the corresponding conclusion. Finally, we created a video that summarized very well our experiences in Montseny. We used iMovie for realizing this video as a result of having an Apple's computer.
In conclusion, I think it was a very interesting and enjoyable activity because we have chosen a topic that transmit great feelings to us. Montseny is a nice symbol for our personal lives and it represents a good memory of our childhood and adolescence. Furthermore, we have created a nice bond of friendship as a consequence of working together during a high number of hours for creating our original presentation in a peaceful atmosphere.
